Still too many details. I’d better stick to landscapes from tomorrow. The added advantage will be, hopefully, a fluency with landscapes at the end of the exercise. I need to work on getting a colour closer to black. Though you cannot see it here the colour is closer to purple than black.
This is the second time I’m using this reference. The first attempt was in Poster Colours and handed over to his mother. I feel that even though there is less of a likeness in this one there has been some improvement since the last attempt made a year ago.
